The 30-Day Faith Detox
– Laura Harris Smith
The 30-Day Faith Detox isn’t what I
expected. I am still unsure if that is a
good thing or a bad thing. It was too
wordy for me, and I felt like it made a lot of assumptions about the reader.
The 30 days
is set up as a day-by-day detox. For
example: Day 12’s spiritual toxin: Get
Rich Quick. It has a devotion style reading
for that day. Then it talks about
emotional toxins. Finally, the
Correlating Physical Detox has to do with the reproductive system. I just don’t get it. I didn’t finish the book. I think it might be interesting to hear Smith
speak about what she thinks, but this book format doesn’t work for me. (Sorry.)
I received
this book in exchange for an honest review.
