An Uncommon Courtship
– Kristi Ann Hunter
I don’t
think I have every read a series book out of order that I have enjoyed this
much. I may break my habit and go back
and read the rest of the books! I did
read A Nobel Masquerade and truly
enjoyed it!
An Uncommon Courtship is a GREAT
READ! I really thoroughly enjoyed
it! I always love books where the “underdog”
finds his or her way! This is the story
of Lord Trent Hawthorne and Lady Adelaide Bell.
Lord Trent is basically forced to marry Adelaide to save her reputation. Basically, her mother is a crazy woman only
concerned with herself and her older daughter.
Lady Adelaide is thankfully a kind sweet young woman. Lord Trent just wants to do what is right.
They need
to learn to love each other, and really learn what it means to love
someone. They have to humble themselves
to accomplish this task. I love how
Trent’s friends point him to the Bible to learn about marriage and love. I love how the both take their “lot”
seriously. I love how he defends her and
she supports and encourages him.
If you can’t
figure it out, I loved this book! 5
stars!
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
