The Promise of Rayne – Nicole Deese

            Honestly,  I have never read a book by Nicole Deese.  The Promise of Rayne helped me find a new author to follow, and for those of you who are readers you probably understand the magnitude of finding a new author! 

            Rayne Shelby has grown up in an affluent family who doesn’t really care about anyone or anything other than the family name.  Her Uncle Cal will stop at nothing to protect the family image. 

            Levi was taken in as a troubled teen by Ford a man who lives his life for God in a simple way.   Ford quietly does what honors God.  Ford is also an enemy of the Shelby family.

            When Rayne and Levi were teens they started a relationship that was quickly snuffed out by the Shelby family.  A desperate situation brings Rayne to Levi’s doorstep.

            I am not going to say anymore because I don’t want to spoil the book for you.  I will be reading more by Nicole Deese.  I would recommend this book!
