doodletopia CARTOONS - Christopher Hart

Doodletopia CARTOONS – Christopher Hart

I cannot draw.  I stink at it.  Doodletopia CARTOONS is a fun way to learn to draw some whimsical cartoonish pictures.  The writing in the book is almost like a conversation.  Some of the phrasing I wouldn’t want my child repeating – they aren’t horrible – but I wouldn’t want them said by my children.
Because I have never taken a formal art class, I really don’t get the draw an “x” like shape across a face then erase it.  I truly still don’t get it, but I don’t think that is the purpose of this book.  He does give many hints at the bottom of the pages.  He shows you how to easily use one shape to make a couple of different characters.
This is a fun whimsical book.  It’s light-hearted.  It’s a no-fear cartoon drawing book!  Have fun with it!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
