I really
enjoyed reading book 1 in The Destination Wedding Series, The Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
It was fun and a story about reconciliation. I love reconciliation
stories!
Almost
Like Being in Love is the story of Caron, Alex, Kade, Jessica, and a host
of other people. There were several
minor story lines running alongside of Caron’s story. I actually like that in a book! Without spoiling the book there are several “messed-up”
situations in this book: alcoholism, imposing parents, making decisions for
yourself, friends who speak the truth in love, unconditional love, and
forgiveness/reconciliation. Did I
mention I love reconciliation stories?!?!
Caron has to be an adult and make
grown-up choices. It is a hard road, and
very confusing for her because she thinks her life is heading in a certain
direction, but is it?
I really enjoyed this story!
