Like Never Before - Melissa Tagg

Like Never Before – Melissa Tagg

Like Never Before is book number 2 in the Walker Family Series. I didn’t read the first book, From the Start, but I just might go backwards and break my rule!  Amelia Bentley has a life and a home in Maple Valley.  Logan Walker grew up in Maple Valley, but his home is in Los Angeles with his daughter.
There are several stories within Amelia and Logan’s story.   Amelia and Logan are learning things about themselves as they endure hardships and have fun!
“Real life isn’t just your career or your everyday stuff.  It’s the surprises and opportunities and open doors you didn’t see coming.”    I love this quote!  Now, I am probably closer to Case’s, Logan’s dad, age than Logan’s – but this quote shines true.  Real life is in the day-to-day ups and downs.  I enjoyed how this book wasn’t really ‘preachy’, but had great Christian beliefs.
Here’s another gem of a quote, “….sometimes believing is a matter of deciding.  Deciding who you’re going to trust and what you know about who you trust.  And once that decision starts sinking into your bones, the side-open spaces of your future get more invigorating than intimidating.  Does’ mean the choices suddenly get easy.  But it does mean we stop worrying so much that we’re going to mess up and pick the wrong door, as if we could possibly out-wander God.”  This is just truth!
This is a sweet story of forgiveness, love, family, trust, faith, and all sorts of other wonderful things!  Buy it!  Read it!

**I received this book from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.**
